The SAS Survival Handbook written by John "Lofty" Wiseman. Tells of the Special Air Service (SAS) survival secrets. Secrets that allow a man to survive in the wild.

The SAS survival handbook aims to be able to make you survive in the wilds armed with just this book and a knife.
For anyone who likes outdoor adventures you could find yourself stuck in a survival situation. This book will help you survive whether it be in deserts, rain forests, or the ocean.

One of the things the book first recommends is a survival pouch or something you should carry every day. It then tells you how to get the basics you will need to survive such as water. It tells you what animals to follow and look for to find water as well as what to look for to tell if the waters bad.

The SAS Survival Handbook even explains what to do if your driving and your brakes fail, or if a train or plane gets in an accident. This book is a great addition to any collection of survival books you may have, even if its the first.
